Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how EZ Solutions India ("EZ Solutions", "we") handles personal data collected through this website, EZ Solutions's company site. It covers this website only. Each EZ Solutions product (PolicyIQ, BillDo, Engage360, ServicePilot, ProjectBook and Visito) has its own website and its own privacy policy, which apply when someone uses that product.
Who is responsible for the data?
EZ Solutions India is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website, as defined in India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Its office is at Level 13, Platinum Techno Park, Plots 17 & 18, Pranavanandji Marg (Bhagwan Mahaveer Road), Sector 30, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400703, and it can be reached at info@ez-solutions.in or +91 84229 22959.
What personal data does this website collect?
The website collects personal data only when a visitor chooses to send a message through one of its forms. The contact form asks for:
- name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- the product or service of interest (optional);
- the message itself, and anything the visitor chooses to write in it.
The custom software request form asks for the same name, email address and phone number, plus business details: the business name, industry and team size (some optional), the type of software needed, how the work is done today, the timeline, a budget range, the problem to solve, must-have features and systems it must work with.
The project request forms for EZ Solutions services ask for the same contact and business details, plus the service needed, the starting point, where the software should run, the timeline, a budget range, project details, systems it must work with and an optional link to an existing app, design or document.
With every form, the website also sends the page the form was sent from, the first page visited, the website the visitor came from and any campaign tags in the link, so the team knows how the enquiry reached EZ Solutions.
Browsing the website does not require giving any personal data. The web server that hosts the site may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, which are used to keep the site running and secure.
Does this website use cookies or tracking?
This website uses Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive and roughly where they are. Google Analytics sets cookies in the visitor's browser and collects details such as the device and browser type, pages visited, time spent and a shortened form of the IP address. EZ Solutions sees this only as combined statistics and does not use it to identify individual visitors. Google may process this data on servers outside India under its own privacy policy.
The website does not use advertising or social media tracking. Visitors can block or delete cookies in their browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on; the website works the same without them. Fonts and images are served from the website itself, not from third-party services.
How is the data used?
Form details are used only to reply to the enquiry, for example to answer a question, arrange a product demo, prepare a proposal or pass the enquiry to the team responsible for the product or service chosen. The reply may come by email or by phone. EZ Solutions does not use them for unrelated marketing without asking first, and does not sell personal data.
A visitor who sends a form gives these details voluntarily, for that specific purpose. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows personal data given this way to be used for the purpose it was given for. Anyone who no longer wants their details used can ask for them to be erased, as described below.
Who is the data shared with?
Form messages are delivered by email to the EZ Solutions team. Personal data is processed on EZ Solutions' behalf by the company that hosts this website, whose mail server delivers the form emails, only so it can provide that service. Website usage statistics are processed by Google through Google Analytics, as described above. EZ Solutions may also disclose personal data when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid order from a court or a government authority.
How long is the data kept?
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up on the enquiry. If the enquiry does not lead to a business relationship, they are erased within three years of the last contact, unless a law requires them to be kept longer. Server logs are kept only for a short period to keep the site secure.
How is the data protected?
The website is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are handled only by the people who need them to reply. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, but EZ Solutions takes reasonable security safeguards to protect the personal data it holds.
If a personal data breach affects someone's data, EZ Solutions will inform the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
What rights do people have over their data?
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a person whose personal data EZ Solutions holds may ask to:
- know what personal data is held and how it is used;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated;
- have their data erased when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was given for;
- withdraw consent, which stops further use of that data from then on;
- have a grievance about the handling of their data addressed;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights in case of death or incapacity.
To make any of these requests, write to the Grievance Officer (details below) or send a message through the contact page and mention "Privacy request". EZ Solutions replies to requests and grievances within 30 days of receiving them. If a grievance is not resolved, the person may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
This policy can be provided in English or, on request, in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India.
